Leo Elections

Hey there Leos!
It's that time of the year!
No, not that time that girls experience, if you get what I mean.

Anyways, what I'm really referring to is...

Leo elections!
Well, as probably what you see from the title.

Anyhow, to you dedicated Leos in form 4 and below this year who wish to be a B.O.D. members,
(short for Board of Directors)
please contact Mitrysha, Leo President, in 5 Bakti on Friday.
You will be getting a form from her and you must fill that up.
(Please make sure you know what position you're applying for)
And if so, please stay back after school in 5 Bakti as the President will give a little speech.

Your interview will be on 31st April, so prepare yourself by then ;)

HOWEVER.
Before deciding to become a B.O.D. member,
please keep in mind that you must be:

1. able to take responsibilities.
2. understand the position you're applying for.
3. not joining the B.O.D. just for fun/ following your friends/ Koku marks.
4. able to bring up Leo's name.
5. do your best to learn Leadership, gain Experience and jump at every Opportunity.

Yes, being a B.O.D. is not an easy job so please make sure you're able to handle the responsibilities.
We, as the current B.O.D., do not wish to see Leo down the drain.

Good luck to the incoming B.O.D.! :)
No pressure on your guys at all! :P

Leo Forum

Hello leos!
This post is for those going for Leo forum.
If you can't go, don't worry, if you're a form 3/4, there's always next year :)

Anyhow, there are dress codes to follow.
The first night, called Fellowship Night, is a semi-formal event.
In other words, you can just wear a simple dress for the girls and as for the guys, just some slacks and long-sleeved collared shirt perhaps?
The theme is Retro-futurism.

And just fyi, if you don't follow the theme, you'll be punished ;)

The second night, Banquet Night, is a strictly formal event.
Well, I'm sure you know what to wear when it comes to formal right?
However, the theme is unconfirmed so we'll update you later.

Don't forget to bring cameras and yourself!
Oh! and have a blast! :)

Pesta Tanglung MPSJ

Hey peeps, sorry for the lack of updates lately.
Here's a new update that happened on the 10th of September.
The Leo Club of SMKSJ attended Pesta Tanglung, held in MPSJ.
Such a shame for those who missed out, as it was really fun.

We were in charge of the booth with face painting and sand art.
Face painting.

Sand art. Don't you think it's cute?

Some of the colourful sand.

And we have our brave Leo members who painted their face.

Leo Joel Lim, being the first to be experimented on.

Leo Melissa Lim having her face painted too.

One of the helpers from SMKUSJ and Leo Vivien Tan.
Looks awesome doesn't it?

Unfortunately, it was raining just before the event.
However, it didn't break our spirit to work!
And luckily, it turned sunny just a bit later.

The booth next to us, in charge of the Angry Birds game.

Fire performance at night.
